Maybe your love language is gifts or perhaps you're known to be the best gift-giver around. Or maybe you're like me and you spend way too long overthinking what the "perfect" gift might be. Then all of a sudden you've run out of time and the gift arrives late, or you opt for a FaceTime call or personal note instead (which is great, too, by the way).
Either way, I decided to put a little guide together for Mother's Day so you don't have to spend too much time shopping around for a gift your mama will love. And let's be real, no gift can replace the words "thank you" and "I love you," but they're sure to make her smile.
As a quick note-- I chose all of these gifts from Catholic artists, shops, and creators because I think any item which reminds us that the Lord is with us packs an even greater punch.
With that, let's get the ball rolling on this Catholic Mother's Day Gift Guide!
For the Mom Whose House Always Smells Amazing
I was gifted one of these candles by a friend and I couldn't have been more thankful because wow...not only are they beautiful to look at but the quality and craftsmanship that go into them are exceptional. Pick her patron saint or a devotion!
Stella Maris Candles from Theology of Home
So I have yet to try one of these in person but based on the amount of friends and reviews I have no doubt that these are exceptional as well! They're also beautiful and would make a great companion to light during prayer.
For the Mom Who Loves Modern Catholic Decor
"Begin with the beautiful, which leads you to the good, which leads you to the truth.”-- Bishop Robert Barron
Litany of Saints for Mother's by SantaClara Design
Having purchased a Litany of Saints for Fathers and prints for our own family, I can say that these are wonderful quality prints and I love how many she has to choose from.
Immaculate Heart of Mary Wall Medallion by House of Joppa
Once we finish our family altar you can bet I'm getting my hands on this. I absolutely love Catholic home decor that is so beautifully crafted anyone might look at it and think "wow, where'd you get that" whether they're of the faith or not!
A Rosa Mystica Collection Print by Brass & Mint Co.
Whether in a collection or single print these are absolutely beautiful to look at. Perfect for the modern mom who fancies a touch of gold in her decor.
Once again...when our family altar is finished I might not have room for all of the prints I want to buy. Modern portraits of Christ, Our Lady and the Saints are always a safe bet to gift!
For the Mom Who is Coffee Obsessed
"Let them have coffee before meditation"-- Venerable Fulton J. Sheen
Sipping with the Saints Collection by Just Love Prints
Not only does she have beautiful prints as well, but this particular collection is so simple, fun, and inviting! If the mother in your life has a cute coffee bar set up, these will fit in right at home!
Ceramic Mugs by Rose Harrington Art
The Fiat mug is my every day, go-to coffee mug. They really are the perfect mugs to sip your morning (or afternoon) coffee during your prayer time.
Delicious, ethically sourced coffee with a mission devoted to families, farmers, and Christ...need I say more? Deliver a fresh roast to her door or pitch in on a coffee subscription...there's so many ways to keep her caffeinated!
Maximilian Kolbe Travel Mug by Be A Heart Design
This entire shop is filled with beautiful goodies for the whole family, but this is a great travel mug for the mom keeping the saints nearby during those busy errand days.
For the Jewelry Mama
Necklaces, Rings, Bracelets, etc. from The Little Catholic
High quality and modern jewelry devoted to pointing its timeless beauty back to the faith? You bet. One day my entire jewelry collection will be from this shop but until then I'll add pieces one by one. Take a look through the shop, I have no doubt you'll find something she'll love!
Mom Bar Necklace from Stella & Tide
Aside from the countless beautiful and affordable items in this shop, this one is a favorite of mine! Simple, elegant, and timeless. You really can't go wrong, here!
And that's a wrap! I hope this gift guide helped you in some way and if anything, introduced you to some of my favorite Catholic shops. Happy gifting, and Happy Mother's Day!
